Group Fitness

Policy & Procedure For Group Fitness classes

1. There are no group fitness classes on Statutory holidays.

2. Due to the restriction and increased participation, Apollo has implemented a registration system.  You will be required to pick up a number card and record your name at the     front desk 30 minutes prior to each  RIP, REVolution, and BOOT Class.

3. To serve you better, classes that are back to back ie. RIP and REVolution.  You may pick up both number cards at the same time.

4. You are entitled to 1 card per person per class.  When the numbers are gone, the class is full.

5. To ensure that classes start and finish on time, please arrive a minimum of 10 mins.  prior to class to ensure adequate time for set up and for instruction if needed.

6. In order to eliminate disruption and in consideration to others, once the door is closed or the class has started, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER STUDIO.

7. If you need to dismiss yourself from class early, please leave your equipment where it is and the instructor will put it away.

RIP is a 60-minute barbell program for able-bodied men and women of all ages and all fitness levels.  Matching movement to music and using traditional strength training allows participants to work at their own level.  This is the perfect tool for instructors looking to breathe life back into yourbarbell classes.   Aqua-fit (45-60 min)

A superb workout in the water for all levels of fitness. Noodles, Resistance bands,Dumbbells and Paddleboards may be used. Geared to all levels of fitness. **400 calories

Pool Activities:  The Lap pool is kept at a temperature of 80-82 degrees.  Pool is designated as a lap pool only other than during family day times and Aqua-fit classes.  Family Day/swim Saturday 4:00-9:30pm and Sunday 9:00-4:30pm   ***NO coed hot tub or lap swimming during Aqua Fit classes.


  (50-60 min)

REV is a cycling program tailor-made for anyone who can ride a bike.  Ride over hills, sprint in the flats break away from the peloton, and do interval training.  Rev matches proven riding principles and music to resistance levels, riding speeds and positions to maximize cardio training while having fun.  Revolutionize your group classes.   Hatha Yoga (60min)

There is no better time then now to discover how the mind/body connection is for fitness, healing and true health. We will inspire you through the yogic process of cultivating mindfulness. While simultaneously strengthening, unlocking and healing your body. Geared to all levels.**375 calories


 OSTEO-FIT: (50-60 min)

Whether you are living with osteoporosis or you want to prevent it, incorporating fitness into your daily life style is the best way to protect your bones.  Learn to reduce the fear of falling, improve posture, gain confidence, increase strength and HAVE FUN AGAIN! **190 calories


 FUNKY FLEX: ( 50-60min)

This fitness activity will help you to increase energy, vitality, improve mobility, flexibility, strengthen and maintain independence.  Although this program was developed for Seniors, it can be a life saver for many.  **300 calories


BOOT is a unique brand in the Group Rx family.  A 60 minute fusion of cardio, strength, balance & flexibility, it increases strength and heart/lung function.  Improves posture and increases flexiblity.  The objective is to continually "shock" the body, as research demonstrates that it is the most efficient and effective way to improve your cardiovascular system, lose weight and build muscle.  The endless variety of exercises and instructor/trainor styles ensures that no two classes are the same and that every workout feels new and exciting.  BOOT is for all able-bodied people of all ages.  Varied intensity levels allow beginners to successfully work alongside high-level athletes. Aqua Zumba blends the Zumba philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you shouldn't miss!! Those looking to make a splash by addding a low-impact, high energy aquatic exercise to their fitness routine.  (50-60 min) 250 calories

Posture Training

Improve your posture by stetching your tight muscles and strengthening your weak, overstretched muscles.  This is the anti-sitting, anti-texting workout to undo the postural damage caused by modern life.  Joint safe and appropriate for all levels of fitness.  You will feel the difference after just one class!    (50-60 min)  298 calories 


To ensure a safe, effective and enjoyable workout, please inform your instructor if your are:

  • New to the class
  • Not accustomed to vigorous exercise
  • Pre/post natal
  • Asthmatic
  • Recovering from an injury
  • Limited physically
  • Suffering from heart problems
