I am fitness professional with thirty years of industry experience, dedicated to one goal, your success! Weather its helping you get into shape and better physical health, or helping you pursue and get ready for a competitive goal or sport. I, as your coach, will help you pursue it with spirit, passion, enthusiasm, dedication, and determination. I know what it takes to walk the talk, and I am committed to assisting and achieving results for you. My mission statement is quite simple, “Its never too early, or too late, to get you moving”. This is a way of life that I embrace.

Background

As long as I can remember my passion has been physical fitness. In elementary school I always looked forward to “sports day” events and competed to the best of my ability. In junior high I completed in track & field, where I excelled in the 100M dash, holding the fastest record for several years in a row for the Fraser Valley. While in high school, I also participated in team sports such as, volleyball, baseball, soccer, and rugby, which taught me not only the importance of hard work, but team work. When I was nineteen years old I joined my first gym, where I was introduced to women’s body building. This struck a spark, yet again, in my competitive nature. I worked hard training to compete, and placed 2nd for Miss Okanagan, 1st for Miss Fraser valley, and 1st for Miss B.C., and was awarded best overall, best poser, and qualified for the Canadian championships. And recently prequalified for Women's Natural Body Building Nationals 2012. Over the years I have put programs together for gym members, and taught group fitness that incorporated cardio, strength, and flexibility. I have also been active in cross country mountain biking, organizing the event, and competing in races including ‘the test of metal”, a six hour grueling race. I have discovered a real love for helping people become the best they can be. Helping others reach their fitness goals gives me a true sense of fulfillment.
